Despite what the name might imply, this game is not about you, as yourself or someone else, dating a dad in an asymmetrical relationship. This game is about you creating your own, fully customized dad, and dating one of seven other dads. It's dads all the way down.
Date All The Dads, Or Just One
Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator doesn't take itself all that seriously, but it takes itself seriously enough to have multiple endings, voice acting, and mini-games. The voice acting talent is of particular note, given that the game features voices from the famous YouTube group The Game Grumps among others. That aside, the game's production values are reasonably high though not amazing, and many sprites and backgrounds are reused throughout the game.
If Dads Are What You Want
The developers confess that the number of dad puns in the game made even them uncomfortable. This says quite a lot: Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator is the sort of game you play if you love or hate the concept, if you laugh or cry at it, and not something to play if you simply like dating simulators and are looking for a new one to play. Dream Daddy is definitely an acquired taste, and you should pick it up if you feel like you've already acquired that taste.
